Absolutely love your reenction of your ex-husband and his carpet lines it's so sad because I do actually understand that with my own versions of OCD but I was not as crazy as him nor was I as delusional so I'm glad you're out of that I'm still a little delulu but you know it is what it is
I think carpet vacuum lines get us all a little excited about perfect order. It's natural. and ex-hubs was definitely in the delulu world (I love that term...delulu).
Too bad you couldn't have switched to hardwood to eliminate those pesky lines!
That's really cool to learn about the vacuuming power of oxygen, and it makes sense.
I always imagine that I'm at the bottom of an ocean of air, and after I empty my lungs, the ocean pushes back in to fill me up. It makes a great visualization while breathing deep, and getting rid of all that stale air we seem to hang onto.

I divorced the guy, married a different guy, and we have hardwood now. So much cleaner. We’ve had the same $80 vacuum for 8 years.
I love that visualization. Reminds me of the feeling of the surf on my ankles and the sort of suction it does.
