This article is exactly what I needed to read today. I've been struggling with a big decision, and my mind is a whirlwind of conflicting thoughts. Your emphasis on mindfulness and intuition resonates with me. Thank you for sharing your insights and for the reminder that we all have the wisdom we need within us.
Whenever I have a big decision and I need to listen to my intuition, I always hear my Dad’s voice inside my head saying “you already know what you’re gonna do. do that.” it works every time.
I have had bad experiences NOT listening to my inner voice, questioning it and trying to analyse on a “deeper level “(what deeper level than my inner voice?) and now I realise, that this inner voice had always been right! Thanks Teri was this reminder🎊
I look forward to having a listen to the video above when I’m more awake 🤗 but I wanted to drop in a quick note of hurrah! For encouraging folks to listen to that small voice. I’ve gotten better at listening and heeding it over all my years, and I’m grateful for that. If I am ever in doubt about whether it’s my voice or conditioning speaking to me, I remind myself that my higher self is never mean. Filters things out pretty well for me.
oh wow, i've never seen anyone have my experience. my ex husband used to make elaborate meals, using every dish in the kitchen, then we'd sit down and he'd wolf down his food before I was barely started, then he would go play video games while I was expected to spend the rest of my night cleaning up the mess.
I'm so sorry he did this to you! I know that feeling of being left at a table. It's so hollow and empty, and it makes the meal lose all its emotional nourishment quality.
My ex was anorexic, had been since he was 10 years old. He used to scrape the food loudly off the plate into the trash while I was still eating it. Made me lose my appetite altogether. Almost every meal.
I'm glad you got away. and I hope you have found people to enjoy your meals with that provide emotional nourishment as well.

I was blessed to have parents who taught me at a young age about the "still small voice" and gifted me with tools to listen when I was a child.
